Back in his prime, Mr. Doggett could smuggle goods off to the Bahamas and get back to the Outer Banks in less than 12 hours. His knowledge and experience will help you navigate the ever-changing waterways around Roanoke Island.

Manteo Waterfront Scavenger Hunt Rules
You have a boatload of treasure to find. During this treasure hunt, all the clues and answers can be found along the waterfront of downtown Manteo. You won’t need to come into contact with anybody, all locations will be outdoors, and on public property. No answers require touching or lifting items. If you encounter others please be respectful and stay 6 feet apart at all times. The 10 clues will be delivered by text, if at any point you get stuck just reply “hint” for more info.
Safety is our top priority. Using the internet to look up answers or giveaway answers is considered cheating and takes away from the spirit of the game. The treasure hunt is timed and should take about an hour so make sure to have water and sunscreen. Please be aware of your surroundings and weather conditions. Now let’s get going!

Clues are found outside the Wright Brothers National Memorial’s reconstructed buildings and monument.
Hunt for treasure in the Town of Duck around town park’s boardwalk and shops located on the sound side.
Jockey’s Ridge State Park
Clues are hidden near the Jockey’s Ridge State Park Visitor Center located in Nags Head. Search the majestic dunes to solve the clues!
